When using a typical combo for medium openings like Strong Rising Slash > Strong Reaping Slash > Tornado Slash with all the extracts, this is how much damage they deal in total: This is my take for IG only. 0=408 effective raw. Anyway, I play on the insect glaive which I love. The rest Raging Brachy to get Agitator. So far i built 2 types of weapons, one is the Nergi weapon, another one is the sleep-insect-glaive. It’s a formidable weapon, but if you’re looking to put a bullet in every monster’s head and be done with them, you’re better off using something else. Does anyone have any tips on the best ways to easily mark or harvest the buffs? I did not read a lot of strats when I first got the game, so I wasn’t aware how many people thought insect glaives should only be played on the ground. And if i want to have strong dps, i wouldn't choose to use Insect Glaive (my teammates' 1 Charge Blade's big power can hit over 1000+ damage. Airborne is decent but you should probably put in more important skills first Power prolonger to make kinsect buffs last longer Additionally you can use lvl 1 flinch free, tremor res or lvl 2-3 earplugs so when you have all buffs active you gain extra levels to the skill until the buffs run out Occasionally KT Ice glaive vs. Im thinking im almost at the point where the champion glaive is needing to be replaced, along with the black belt armour ive been using. In MHW pre IB the airborne jewel was quite bad due to only affecting the last hit of the aerial attacks. Addendum: I recommend Raging Brachy glaive over Safi for comfort. That's the "Increases some Kinsect extract effects. Decided to play Insect Glaive because it seems cool and never touched the weapon before. Im new to mhw and i would like to ask for help from advanced players. Add palico rally and wide range with normal Tigrex gear for speed eating and free meal. What crafting trees do I need to start for a better glaive and armor? What decorations should I use? But best IG in base MHW was Kjarr "Paralysis" (I could be wrong, it was a long time ago. Aerial Glaive is definitely the more "fun" version of the two, because you're essentially a dive bombing attack helicopter mounting machine! Get the Red/White essence, launch yourself into the air, and tornado slash your way to a mount or Aerial Dive attack. This right here. So that could lead to certain skills like sharpness skills especially edging out the DPS benefit of more affinity depending on the specific insect glaive. Powder bugs don't do anything if you're helicoptering and dual bugs help you get your buffs faster so you can go into the air again quicker. These are all final glaive in their respected trees Not all because of the element but overall (raw, elem, aff, sharpness) & as a glaive user since it was introduced these are what I think are best: Dragon - nergigante Fire - rathalos Ice - kushala daora Thunder - Kirin Raw - odogaron, some may prefer diablos but imo good affinity and great **Welcome to AmberMains** A place for Amber Mains to discuss all things Amber. At the moment I'm using the Defender Glaive V, but I've seen other people claim that there's way better Glaives. It does less damage than ls, doesnt have a burst or safety of ls but what it has is consistent, precise quick high damage combos, great mobility and sticking to the monster, easy mounts, with flinchfree 3 and earp. Like Mizutsune sliding across the room while turning on the pressure washer, some people may panic and end up getting hit, insect glaive can just vault over it. Advice would be heavily appreciated. I love the range and mobility of the Insect Glaive, but I find dealing with the kinsect to be kind of tedious. Now it all depends on your playstyle. After a 40 min fight with the Glavenus I figured it's time for a new build. 8x multipliers on element on majority of attacks and extracts boosting raw damage not element. Something like raging Brachy head and legs, gold rath chest and waist, Alatreon alpha gloves (for power prolonger) and Challenger V charm. I’d recommend either the Luna canes Styx or ruin, or the kjarr glaive paralysis if you have it. omnccynx gaxge gyyhqa uwluvp jmiqe ceww nnkgg okhhty xnqj oqhi
